Practical and natural!
Welcome to my Donna’s did you know diary for this month and pleased to share the following with you.
Here’s what I learned for this month.
1) A baking tip.
Make sure to thaw out your butter or margarin a few hours before you use it.
In this way, you will avoid having to work with hard butter or margarin.
2) A tip about cartilage:
Cartilage does not grow back.
Once lost it is lost for good.
3) Some tips on why an email that you have sent may have been returned to you or have bounced.
Possible reasons:
There may be a typo in the email address.
The email address may no longer exist or may no longer be in use.
The recipient’s mailbox may be full or temporarily unavailable.
The recipient may have set up email forwarding, which could be
directing your message to an incorrect address.
4) Let’s have some fun with the meaning of some names.
Sidney means “Saint Denis” in France.
Alexa means “helper,” “defender,” and “protector.”
Kaity means “pure.”
Jane means “gift from God,” and also “merciful and gracious.”
Judie reflects “strength, courage, and wisdom.”
Dan means “God is my judge.”
Amy means “beloved” or “dearly loved.”
Brandon means “little raven.”
Trish means “noble.”
Cheryl means “dear one.”
John means “graced by God.”
5) A little tidbit about sheep:
They are followers.
Can’t seem to think for themselves.
6) And here is something to keep in mind when working with your filing.
Keep past bills for 2 years.
Keep tax returns for 7 years.
7) About caring for your mattresses?
Turn them every six months.
Change them every 10 years.
8) About best before dates and expiry dates!
In the case of best before dates, you may still be able to use your product after the noted best before date.
However, keep a close eye on the contents to ensure that you can still use it.
In the case of expiry dates, probably best not to use after six months.
But don’t take the chance with baby foods.
9) A tip on how not to take from the bottom of your coffee jar and why?
You see, when you get to the bottom of your coffee jar, the grains are stronger in taste.
So to avoid making strong coffee, just avoid scraping the bottom of your coffee jar.
10) A tip on how to ice a part of your body when you have injured it.
First use a cold compress.
Then put something warm on it.
Then return to the cold compress.
