Practical and natural!
Welcome to my Donna’s did you know diary for this month and pleased to share the following with you.
Here’s what I learned for this month.
1) About doing E transfers while traveling?
Not a good idea.
You need to ensure that you are using a safe and secure wi-fi network at all times.
2) When making purchases while traveling?
Do not make payment in your native currency.
Example, if you are in Europe making a purchase and you are from Canada!
Ask for the purchase to be made in Euros and not Canadian currency.
In this way you avoid those hefty exchange rates.
3) The difference between a gratuity and a service charge?
Gratuities go to the staff.
Service charges go directly to the company.
4) What makes up the base of a smoothy drink?
Why, it is banana.
5) Is there a noticeable difference in strength between black rum and white rum?
Why, no! Not much of a difference.
6) What is the Guinis drink best known for?
It is given to moms after they have given birth.
They can drink Guinis for up to 2 weeks after giving birth.
7) Where did the fish and chips dish originate?
According to some experts, it originated with the Eastern European Jews.
8) How do you go about deciding when to eat certain fruits?
During the winter, it is best not to munch on such fruits as strawberries and cherries.
Why? Because they are summer fruits and are reaped in the summer.
Same for peaches.
9) About warm drinks?
Warm drinks settle better in one’s stomach on a cool day.
10) About figs and prunes?
These 2 fruits are known to help with cleansing your body’s system.
