Practical and natural!
Welcome to my Donna’s did you know diary for this month and pleased to share the following with you.
Here’s what I learned for this month.
- When taking a blood test and wishing to avoid those painful needles?
Ask your nurse to use a butterfly type of needle.
- What does a typical banking phone scam sound like?
Well, they tell you that you need to send money.
They ask you for your secret access code or pin number.
They ask you for the email address that you use to send e transfers.
There may be more questions
But no bank will ever ask you to provide this type of info
Or that they want you to send money to anyone.
- Here’s a way to lessen the pain of an injection.
Before getting your injection, take a Tylenol or equivalent pill.
- Having problems not itching a bruise or a lesion or a rash?
Try using a comb to help you out.
- Taking care when you get out of bed?
First, sit for a minute or two at the edge of your bed
Do not get out of bed right away and start moving around
This could cause you to become dizzy because your blood pressure level needs time to adjust to normalcy.
- About getting rid of batteries:
Do not get rid of them by putting them in our garbage.
Recycle them.
Put them in the recycle bin.
- A tip on opening the door to your oven while baking:
Each time you open your oven while baking, you lose at least 25 degrees in temperature.
- A very valuable tip when trying to identify identical twins:
1 twin will have an apple shaped face
While the other will have a pear shaped face.
- What is the difference between annuals and parenials?
Annuals spring up and flower every year after being planted.
They disappear when the cold weather descends upon us but return in the following year.
It is not the same for parenials.
Parenials only last for the year in which they are planted.
- Some major reasons for accidents while driving!
Texting, talking on one’s phone,
Emailing while driving.
