Practical and natural!

Welcome to my Donna’s did you know diary for this month and pleased to share the following with you.

Here’s what I learned for this month.

  • Some interesting habits for the youngest generation?

For those 18 to 30 in age?

They seem to be eating supper/dinner anytime around 5 pm

And they are spending more time at a gym.

  • What’s this about pork loin and pork tenderloin?

They are both very easy types of meats to cook.

They are both very tasty when cooked.

Pork tenderloin has the edge however.

  • A very useful tip when packing your chargers.

It is probably best to pack them in your suitcase rather than in your carry on and why?

Because when you go through security there is a good chance that they could get misplaced when the security agent checks your carry on.

  • Wonder why so many of us catch colds and flus when we travel by air?

Probably because of the air systems aboard the plane.

With everyone breathing in the same air?

  • Some info when taking Tylenol!

Every 8 hours for the Tylenol arthritis

And every 6 hours for the other types of Tylenol.

  • Which Caribbean island can easily say that the rate of return visitors is the highest?

Well, it’s Beautiful Barbados!

  • Here’s a little trick for consideration if you live alone and don’t want a lurking person to know?

When you are preparing to lock your door behind you, just say something like “see you later.”

Then when you are returning you can say something like “I’m home!”

  • What’s this about oranges and the Keowee fruit?

Well, it appears that the Keowee fruit contains 5 times as much vitamin C than the good old orange.

  • A tip about white sweet potatoes?

Believe it or not, they are very nutritious and the best category of sweet potatoes.

  • A tip about cooking food.

Before starting to cook food; meat or vegetables, leave them out at room temperature.

They cook much faster.

Same when it comes to warming food in the microwave.

Leave them out at room temperature for a bit before popping into the microwave.
