Ask the Coach!
January 03 2023
My name is Donna Jodhan and I am using my extensive experience as a sight loss coach as well as my lived experience to share and respond to questions that are submitted to me and I also invite you to share your thoughts on questions asked.
For this week: a question from Andrew of Wullmington Delaware.
Andrew is looking for an easy way to peal potatoes.
My response:
Andrew, pealing potatoes may not appeal to us at the best of times but here is how I deal with it.
First I boil my potatoes.
Next I let them stand in very warm water for at least five minutes.
Then with a sharp pairing knife I proceed to peal from top to bottom.
Most times I can use my fingers to peal the potatoes.
You can tell the difference between the peal that is left against the potato itself.
The skin is rough and the potato itself is smooth.
Does anyone have any other suggestions?
