Free accounts should work for most uses – the standard layout of journal cover, theme, and font options allow for a few choices, but if you want to change things up a bit and use a variety of fonts, change to colorful or patterned themes or journal covers, or encrypt your journal you’ll have to shell out some money to do so. Note: I’ve never been able to remove my email address from their mailings over the years, no matter how often I’ve unsubscribed.
