Practical and natural!
Welcome to my Donna’s did you know diary for this month and pleased to share the following with you.
Here’s what I learned for this month.
1) Some trivia about those cute baby turtles:
They never get to see their moms and why?
Because when mom turtle lays her eggs, she buries them deep under the sand.
Then she closes up the nest securing it as tight as she can.
Then she swims away.
When the eggs hatch into baby turtles, these little ones are left alone to fend for themselves.
No mom around to be there for them!
2) A home made remedy for getting rid of a nasty cough?
Make a tea using equal parts of ginger, garlic, and turmeric.
You need to boil everything together.
When it cools add honey to sweeten
And then pour into a bottle.
When ready to use, pour some of your home made remedy into a cup and warm in the microwave.
3) A Facebook tip.
If you do not want anyone to know when you are away from home then do not post anything about your trip on Facebook while traveling.
4) Some important tips on how to make your computer work better.
Use disk defragmenter and disk clean up tools to help you with this.
5) About finding hot spots out in a cold backyard or driveway?
Yes, they really exist.
You just have to hunt for them.
A friend of mine found one of these on one of his patio chairs on his deck
And another in his driveway.
6) Here is one of the most favourite hot drinks during the winter!
Believe it or not, it is hot chocolate.
Many folks prefer to sip or drink a mug of hot chocolate.
7) What is the most enjoyable way to eat fruits?
Put them in the fridge for an hour or more and then remove and enjoy.
8) About expiration dates?
Well, the general consensus is that you can use and eat food stuffs up to six months after the expiration date.
Just keep in mind that when it comes to medication, its strength begins to deteriorate the longer you keep it around.
9) When inspecting food in your freezer!
If you see any discolouration then it’s time to throw it out.
10) Time changes in the UK?
Clocks go forward on the last Saturday of March
And go back on the last Saturday of October.
