Practical and natural!
Welcome to my Donna’s did you know diary for this month and pleased to share the following with you.
Here’s what I learned for this month.
1) Having problems opening a bottle taken straight from the fridge?
Well, all you do is to let the bottle stand outside on your counter for a few minutes.
Then try opening it.
Voila! It opens like a charm!
2) Looking to make a bag of seasonings that you can freeze and use when needed?
Here’s what you can include:
Garlic, celery, thyme, origano, and anything else you like.
Do not include onions.
Crush everything and add to a zip lock bag.
Then freeze.
3) A West Indian bottle of flavour for cooking chicken?
Burn some brown sugar in a bit of water.
Be careful when burning the sugar.
When cool pour into a bottle for storage.
You can store this in your pantry cupboard.
4) One of the benefits of using vitamin E cream?
It is very good for getting rid of scars after you have had surgery.
5) About improving the quality of honey?
Feed a nutritious diet to those hard working bees.
Surround them with sweet smelling flowers.
6) The difference between a cold and influenza?
A cold is less serious.
Re a cold, you are miserable for a few days with a runny nose, eyes, cough, and a slight fever.
Re influenza, it is more serious and lasts for at least five days.
It descends on you with a high fever, tiredness, and lots of aches and pains.
It is caused by a combination of multiple viruses.
7) What is shrink flation?
Well, it means smaller packages and size of products with less quantities and higher prices.
8) A little trick to help you before you take any vaccination!
Just take a Tylenol or any of your preferred pills before going out to take your vaccination.
9) The difference between a no name brand and a well known name brand?
Guess what?
The no name brand is cheaper than the well known name brand.
10) About our pesky friend the fly?
They only live for 24 hours.
